The Carnival of Love in Dnipropetrovsk / Lifetime

The Brazilian carnivals are more about samba and music whereas the Ukrainian Karnaval Liubvi is about beautiful girls and their wedding gowns.

This is the second time that the Karnaval Liubvi has taken place in Dnipropetrovsk. The city celebrated The Youth Day by taking part in the Carnival of Love.

In the morning, before the Carnival, the Fashion. Look. Coiffure -2010 Stylist Competition took place in the hotel & restaurant complex “KHUTOR” with two nominations – Pret-a-Porter Nina Ricci and Haute Couture Steampunk modern. The award panel included international experts.

In the afternoon girls decked in their wedding dresses gathered for a photoshoot in the amusement park.

In the evening the festival started in front of the Theatre of Opera and Ballet. The viewers could observe the cortege...
